WHO WE ARE
The Ohio Dairy Veterinarians was formed in July 2000. Our mission is to provide continuing education to members and to serve Ohio’s Dairy Industry. Our continuing education program is focused on areas of production medicine and delivered to the members via an annual meeting held the first weekend in January.
We serve the industry in several ways, including participation in the Ohio Dairy Industry Forum, and the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Cattle Health Advisory Committee. We also serve by working with The Ohio State University to encourage students to explore food animal practice and they serve as dairy industry educators to the people in their communities.

Our members are located throughout Ohio. We often also have veterinarians from other states attend our annual meeting. What better place to engage other dairy veterinarians in Ohio than at an annual meeting of the Ohio Dairy Veterinarians. We hope you can join us.

As an allied industry non-profit organization, we are also members of the Ohio Dairy Producers Association (ODPA) and the Council on Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST). We influence dairy production in our state while engaging other stakeholders on a local, state, and federal level.
